Now you can find lots of Secret of Mana icons and a ScreenMate. Modify folder's look under Windows 9x: Windows 9x becomes a bit old so here's a tip to make it look younger! What about giving it a Seiken Densetsu look? Warning: this operation is only for advanced users! What you need: - Internet Explorer 6 - Trebuchet MS font installed - Windows notepad - Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu wallpaper: click here to download it. - Photo editor: Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Paint Result: Here's the result! Not bad, isn't it? Notice: To get this result, it's very easy. You have two choices: - Only modify the left menu image (for the top image, you need Hotbar or Skin Bar 2000) - Also modify the font editing the folder.htt file In all cases, you have to backup files you'll modify or replace. The folder you're going to work is c:\Windows\Web 1) Modification of the background image: Open the Shinyaku Seiken Desnetsu wallpaper with your photo editor. If your screen's resolution is 800600, resize the wallpaper at 70% of its normal size. Save the file as: c:\Windows\Web\wvleft.bmp 2) Removing the Windows 98 color line: Delete the file wvline.gif. 3) Fonts modification: Open the file webview.css with notepad and replace verdana by trebuchet ms on the first line. Save. Open the file folder.htt with notepad and replace: {font: 8pt/10pt verdana; margin: 0} by: {font: 8pt/10pt trebuchet ms; margin: 0; color=white} Save. Here you are!
